TQ’s Enduring Success with MoD

20th Aug 2009

TQ is very excited to be part of a consortium going through to the next bidding stage for Royal Navy training.

The Fleet Outsourced Activities Project (FOAP) is designed to replace the current arrangement of skills-based training and training support, equipping naval recruits for life on board ship. This highly valuable, 10 year contract is due to be awarded in 2011 following a competitive dialogue process.

Once successful, TQ's consortium (lead by Serco) will start delivering training across the UK.

TQ CEO Vic Keyworth commented "At TQ we are very proud of our 50 year tradition of service to the British Armed Forces both in the UK and overseas. Our enduring support for the Forces has enabled us to make our specialist's contribution to many different military initiatives. We are looking forward to continuing this input. Our long association with Serco will sustain a substantial foundation for this mission critical training challenge. We are keen to get stuck in."
