TQ Signs US$64 Million Contract in Saudi Arabia

TQ has recently signed a contract to provide the newly created Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic (SPSP), located in Dammam, with the full-range of required educational support activities for the next five years. The training that will be delivered at the SPSP will run over two years; the first year will cover English language and Key Skills; and the second year will be the technical programme of an NVQ in Performing Engineering Operations followed by a specialisation in either Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance or Drilling Operations.

The contract involves TQ developing and delivering the curriculum and then arranging the subsequent internationally recognised accreditation to ensure that the institution will be viewed as world-class. TQ will also manage all educational aspects of the SPSP, including the staff, and will provide and maintain state-of-the-art teaching technology and equipment.
