Up to USD $150,000 pa (dependant on experience and qualifications), free company accommodation in Saudi Arabia or a housing allowance of $25k for Bahrain, healthcare, $4k flight allowance + baggage allowance, mobilisation/demobilisation flights, company car + fuel allowance. 30 days annual leave plus public holidays.

Contract:

Open contract (single status), renewable contract. Basic 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, Sat to Wed, although some flexibility will be required (not rotational).

Description

TQ Education and Training is a leading UK education and training provider offering premium educational services to customers worldwide. TQ specialises in providing innovative solutions to the training and development needs of a diverse range of customers both in the UK and overseas.

TQ is now 2 years into a five year contract to deliver training services at the Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. We deliver and assess English Language, Key Skills and Technical National Vocational Qualifications to NVQ Level 3 in the Petroleum Industry. The contract involves equipping and the setting up of the Polytechnic's workshops, providing curriculum and accreditation to international standards and recruiting teaching and support staff to deliver the training and assessment programs, both in the training centre and also to trainees in the field.

We require an experienced Drilling Services Instructor & Internal Verifier to run the Drilling Services Program, and manage the team of Trainers who will deliver the technical curriculum at the Polytechnic and carry out on-the-job assessments in the field. You will be responsible for the developing and maintaining the curriculum, assessments and Standard Operating Procedures in order to meet all the awarding body and client requirements. In addition you will deliver the training programme as and when required, and internally verify all portfolios to the agreed External Verifier and Awarding Body standards. You will also assist in the training, development and certification of training staff as NVQ Assessors.

The successful candidate will be able to show a progressive employment history within drilling operations, ie Roustabout, Assistant Driller, Tool Pusher, Supervisor, etc.
