Description
TQLS seeks an enthusiastic and suitably experienced person to deliver EHS training courses and verify competencies. In addition, assist in training needs analysis; develop training course materials and course lesson plans; and assist in the continuing improvement of OE and Safety Training processes.
Training Responsibilities
- Delivers EHS courses, within all areas of competency, to individuals per training schedule.
- Conduct theory and practical testing modules as defined in the relevant lesson plans or as directed from the set learning content/curricula.
- Conduct field activities to verify competency of individuals.
- On-going coaching on EHS issues for field workers.
- Assist in a Training Needs Analysis for all employees requiring EHS courses.
- Leverage training resources to increase efficiency of training.
- Develop training materials, curricula and presentations and provide EHS support and guidance to the Training Centreâs existing technical competence assessment team.
- Utilize Training Matrix to identify individuals with high-risk training needs and work with admin support staff to schedule training.
- Contribute to the development of an annual EHS Training Schedule.
- Evaluate training delivery and support continuous improvement processes.
Contract Requirements
- To ensure that the delivery of training meets Client requirements and in line with contract requirements.
- In liaison with PM, make short and long term training projections, identify problems and suggest solutions to ensure that quality training is delivered.
Planning & Business Development
- In liaison with PM assess future training needs and provide appropriate business proposals.
- Contribute to a system of business planning that ensures best delivery of training services to the Client.
Customer Service
- Providing a customer-orientated service that upholds and promotes the professional image of the company.
General
- To attend all TQLS Staff and Safety Meetings and report on all training and staff related issues to the PM.
- To maintain and promote safe working practices aligned with OE Standards.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required by TQLS and client contract.
