Halliburton (2006-2007)

TQ has been contracted to deliver training to 100 trainees, over two intakes, to be employed in various roles within Halliburton facilities in Kuwait. TQ is responsible for recruitment of trainees, in partnership with Halliburton. The recruitment campaign saw 1000 applicants tested and interview, with a final selection of 100 trainees. Training is delivered on a full time basis and is sponsored by the Kuwait government. Training is conducted in both TQ and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) provided venues. The Program is aimed at Kuwaitis seeking to enter full time employment and forms part of the Government's Kuwaitisation Program. The Technical Training content was designed to closely resemble Halliburton Kuwait needs and concentrate upon the use of a Drill Sim 5000 focusing on Health and Safety, Drilling, Cementing and Well control. The Technical Training involved a mixture of classroom and workshop based training, as well as regular 'On the job' training.
