National Vocational Training Institutes Support Project (1996-1998)

TQ was awarded a 10 million contract for the Ghanaian Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare. Funding for the project was arranged by TQ comprising a medium term loan via a merchant bank combined with part funding from overseas aid. The contract was to provide 23 Vocational Training Centres (VTC's) throughout Ghana with new equipment in 18 subject areas, and to establish 4 regionally located equipment maintenance and repair facilities. In addition, it included the development of appropriate curricula and teaching materials, training in curriculum delivery and training of the centres' staff in the use and maintenance of the equipment.
