Saudi Arabian Chevron (SAC) Project

TQ was awarded a contract in 2004 to deliver basic academic units which include English, Maths and Information Technology, progressing onto a skills specific phase where students work towards National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Levels 1 and 2 in the areas of Security and Loss Prevention, and Performing Engineering Operations. When a training need is identified, training is provided in both classroom / workshop based environments.
The project has developed an extremely strong set of ISO procedures which cover all the main training areas, ranging from internationally recognised IELTS examination control to course design plans through to Trainee reporting systems and course reviews.
TQ also oversees the recruitment for the SAC trainees and in August 2006, 960 applicants were tested and interviewed to achieve a quota of 92 entrants to the 2007 Apprenticeship Program.
