TQ is part of the Holdfast Consortium which is delivering a prestigious 30-year contract focussing on the training of Royal Engineers at the UK MoD's training schools at Chatham in Kent and Minley in Hampshire. The scope of the business includes the scheduling and delivery of multi-level training in a wide variety of artisan and operator skills together with academic courses, plus the construction and refurbishment of buildings, management and rationalisation of the training estate, and the provision of hard and soft facilities management services.
TQ's role within Holdfast is to deliver all of the highly specialised Plant Training at the training centre in Wainscott near Chatham, and Crane Driver Training at Minley. The training provided plays a vital role in the development of vocational and technical skills as well as reinforcing the military training ethos of service, discipline, duty and team working.
