AFV Driving & Maintenance, Gunnery and Communications Training to the UK Army's Armour Centre (1998-2008)

For ten years TQ supplied management, trainers and training support for the three trade training schools at The Armour Centre in Bovington and Lulworth. The training covered Driving and Maintenance (D&M) on tracked Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFV's), Signals (Communication and Information Systems) and Gunnery. The TQ instructors delivered a wide range of courses to a variety of soldiers; from Phase 2 soldiers undergoing their initial Special-to-Arm training after completion of their basic training up to specialised, equipment-specific training for instructors. TQ also delivered Train-the-Trainer conversion training courses to the Field Army's Gunnery and D&M instructors on a new range of Battle Group Thermal Imaging sights fitted to the CVR(T) and Warrior range of AFV's. TQ obtained ISO9001 certification for its operation at The Armour Centre.
