KEY ACTIVITIES
Responsibilities and tasks will include:
- Removing tape from cured parts
- Empty all trash receptacles and rubber disposal barrels daily
- Perform daily inspections of shop equipment and machinery, i.e. forklifts, overhead cranes, mechanical lathes, etc.
- Packaging, engraving & labelling of all products as required.
- Ensure work performed meets specification requirements as per drawings, travellers, QPL, etc.
- Assist in all areas of the workshop when required
- Undertaking special projects and assignments as requested
- Housekeeping, i.e. sweep floors, dispose of trash, organize toolboxes, etc.

- To demonstrate commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding customer expectations;
- To demonstrate personal commitment to protection of Health, Safety and the Environment;
- To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments;
- To communicate and report on any perceived non-conformances or faults in the service provided or in the company’s Quality or HSE Management Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred: Relevant experience in a machining/manufacturing plant
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
- Demonstrate good communication skills, along with an ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrate a strong ability to work under pressure to meet client delivery expectations.
Preferred:
- Experience in Swell Packer manufacturing
- Demonstrate an ability to effectively plan, control, and take responsibility for own work.
- Relevant certificates for safe operation of forklift, overhead cranes and lathe operation.

- Must demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of the job role.

KEY ACTIVITIES
- Provide innovative & unique solutions to Tendeka technical challenges
- Complete feasibility studies on conceptual solutions
- Creation of detailed manufacture/assembly drawings and performance calculation packages
- Control of Product Data Maintenance (PDM) information
- Preparation of design packages for performance of design review.
- Preparation of test procedures, reports & assistance to workshop personnel as required
- Provide support to other areas of the business in relation to technical matters
- Liaise with clients as required for any specific project requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
Essential: A degree or similar type qualification in a technical subject or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
- Experience in the design & testing of downhole completion products.
- Demonstrate good communication skills, along with an ability to work in a team environment, as well as an ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems.
- Demonstrate through experience a good understanding of general engineering principles and their application
- Knowledge of downhole hydraulics
- Experience of 3D modelling software (Solidworks preferred)
Preferred:
- Experience with design of electro-mechanical tools
- Experience in working within an operator driven R&D environment
- Oilfield experience in hands on applications
- Knowledge of parametric modelling techniques
- Is familiar with current draughting standards
