Interim Chief Executive Officer

Adel Al-Ghadhban

Mr. Adel Al-Ghadhban currently serves as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of TAQA.

Paul Philip Gomes
(A) Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Paul is a seasoned professional with over four decades of global experience in financial leadership within the energy services sector. As Interim Chief Financial Officer, Paul oversees the company’s financial planning, capital management, and profitable strategic growth initiatives.

Paul has been with TAQA since Jan 2023, and prior to his current appointment he held the position of VP & CFO of TAQA Well Solutions Business Group, where he successfully drove profitability and operational efficiency, as well as leading the financial integration of Al-Mansoori Petroleum Services, ensuring seamless integration of the finance function, systems, and compliance framework to support sustainable growth.

Prior to joining TAQA, Paul was the Group Vice President at Expro for six years, initially leading the global finance function, subsequently taking over expanded responsibilities for supply chain and IT, driving operational excellence, financial discipline, and digital transformation. He spearheaded the creation of shared service center to centralize and streamline finance, procurement, and IT operations, delivering significant cost efficiencies and process standardization.

Before Expro, Paul spent 30 years at SLB, holding various senior financial leadership roles across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, and North America. He directed multiple transformational strategic projects, including the establishment of shared services centers of excellence and key outsourcing initiatives. He ultimately led the global cross-functional shared services organization, driving performance excellence and scalability.

Paul serves on the Advisory Board of Ideal Capital Management Consultants, an M&A and valuation firm based in Dubai, UAE.

Paul is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary.  He holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, and a Bachelor of Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, University of Calcutta.

Jeff Lembcke
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Jeff Lembcke is a seasoned engineering executive with over 40 years of experience across the global energy services sector. He currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at TAQA, leading the company’s technology strategy, product innovation, and engineering excellence across a diverse portfolio of services.

Prior to joining TAQA, Jeff held a series of senior leadership roles at Weatherford International, including Chief Engineer, Director of Engineering Quality, and Vice President of Research, Development & Engineering. During his tenure, he drove large-scale transformation efforts, including the successful integration of over 40 acquisitions, all while preserving high operational performance and accelerating time-to-market for key technologies.

Jeff is widely recognized for his deep technical knowledge, strategic vision, and contributions to industry standards through long-standing involvement with API and ISO technical committees. Throughout his career, he has been a named inventor on over 50 U.S. patents, with innovations in artificial lift, completions, fiber optic and electronic gauges, and production optimization hardware.

He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an M.B.A. from the University of Tulsa. Passionate about leadership development and organizational health, Jeff is known as a mentor and culture shaper who builds strong, future-ready engineering teams.

Rayed Al Eskandrani
(A) Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Rayed Eskandrani is the Acting Chief Operating Officer (COO) at TAQA, responsible for leading all global operations across the company’s product sales and service lines. In this role, he oversees operational excellence, asset performance, and field execution across TAQA’s international footprint, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.

Rayed brings over two decades of experience in the oilfield services and energy sector. Since joining TAQA, he has held several senior leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including Vice President – North Middle East, Well Services Managing Director, and Executive Director – Well Construction and Evaluation. Across these roles, he played a key role in expanding operational capacity, strengthening HSE performance, improving asset utilization, and driving consistent execution across complex operating environments.

Prior to TAQA, Rayed held senior leadership roles at Baker Hughes, including Europe Drilling Services Leader and Europe Business Transformation Leader. In these positions, he led large-scale operational and transformation initiatives across European markets, focusing on performance optimization, organizational effectiveness, and operational excellence within drilling services.

Earlier in his career, Rayed worked at Schlumberger as a Directional Drilling Engineer, where he developed a strong technical and field execution foundation.

Rayed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). He is recognized for his disciplined, hands-on leadership style, strong commitment to HSE, and ability to drive operational excellence across global organizations.

Jamil Al Naser
EVP Early Production Facilities (EPF)

Jamil is the Executive Vice President, Early Production Facilities (EPF) at TAQA, responsible for leading the independent EPF business being one of TAQA’ strategic growth pillars. In this role, he focuses on delivering projects excellence, enhancing operational reliability, and driving value creation for clients and partners, while ensuring alignment with TAQA group standards.

Jamil has more than 25 years of international experience in the oilfield services and energy sector. He joined TAQA in 2019 and held several senior leadership positions, including Area VP – South Middle East and Executive Vice President, Operations – TAQA Well Services (EVP), where he lead the profitable business growth, operational excellence, asset performance, and field execution across multiple geographies.

Prior to joining TAQA, Jamil held senior leadership positions with Baker Hughes, including Director – Wireline Services (Asia Pacific) and Managing Director – Oilfield Services (Australasia, NZ & PNG). In these roles, he led commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives across multiple regions, driving performance improvement and customer delivery excellence.

Earlier in his career, Jamil joined the industry with Schlumberger (Slb), serving in technical and operational roles spanning field operations management, product development, human resources management, and geo‑market leadership across the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, and Australia.

Jamil holds a B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from UAE University and a M.Sc degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot‑Watt University, UK. He is recognized for his strategic leadership, operational expertise, and ability to deliver results across complex, multi-geography environments.

Adel Al-Ghadhban
Interim Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Adel Al-Ghadhban currently serves as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of TAQA, effective 1 June 2025. He also holds positions as Vice Chairman and Board Member of the Arabian Geophysical and Surveying Company (ARGAS), and serves on the boards of Special Oilfield Services (SOS) in Oman and AZR Wireline.

Mr. Al-Ghadhban brings over 30 years of experience in portfolio management and finance across the oil & gas and manufacturing sectors, including nearly two decades at TAQA.

As Interim CEO, he is focused on building a strong foundation, expanding TAQA’s market presence, and accelerating innovation. He is committed to advancing the next phase of the company’s growth in alignment with its long-term strategic objectives

Since joining TAQA in 2006, he has held several senior leadership roles, including Executive Vice President – Ventures & Chief Investment Officer, General Manager for Finance and Administration, and CEO and Vice Chairman of Jubail Energy Services Company (JESCO). He also served as Chairman of the Board of Air Liquide Arabia (ALAR).

Prior to joining TAQA, he spent six years with Saudi Aramco’s Treasury Department and four years as Chief Financial Officer in the healthcare sector.

Mr. Al-Ghadhban holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Denver, USA, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Washington State University, USA.

Majid Al-Farayedhi
(A) EVP Corporate Services

Majid serves as the acting EVP of Corporate Services at TAQA. He joined TAQA in May 2018 and brings over 21 years of experience in the Well Services industry. Prior to his Corporate Services role , Majid delivered performance in his assignments starting with the latest: Global VP Human Resources, Country Executive Director – Kuwait, Sales and Geosciences Executive Director, Coiled Tubing/Stimulation Executive Director, Frac/Stimulation Director, and Director Office of the CEO.

He executed various other responsibilities before joining TAQA starting with latest as VP Operations in NPS, OFS Manager Unconventional Resources in SLB, OFS Marketing Manager in SLB, Petroleum Engineer in Saudi Aramco, Middle East and Asia Career & Staffing Manager (Testing PSL) in SLB, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain OFS Recruiting Manager in SLB, Field Service Manager (Testing PSL) in SLB, Technical Sales Manager (Testing PSL) in SLB and Field Engineer (Testing & Completions PSL’s) in SLB.

Majid has a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, Dublin, Ireland and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

Alaa Dashash
(A) EVP of Strategy & Corporate Development

Alaa is the Acting Executive Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development (A) at TAQA, responsible for driving the company’s long-term growth strategy, portfolio management, and strategic ventures.

Previously, he served as (A) Executive Vice President of Ventures and Chief Investment Officer at TAQA, where he played a key leadership role in shaping the company’s long-term growth and investment strategy. He joined TAQA in February 2015 and brings more than 22 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, combining deep technical and operational expertise with a strong strategic vision.

In his current capacity, Alaa leads TAQA’s strategic initiatives and investment portfolio, driving value creation and ensuring alignment between ventures and the company’s core operations. He works closely with the executive leadership team to identify and execute inorganic growth and partnership opportunities, spearhead corporate development initiatives, and lead M&A activities that strengthen TAQA’s competitive position.

Throughout his tenure at TAQA, Alaa has held several senior leadership roles spanning operations, business development, venture management, and corporate strategy. He has also served as a board member for several of TAQA’s strategic ventures, including Arabian Drilling, Oliden Technology, and Air Liquide Arabia, providing governance oversight and strategic direction at the highest levels.

Before joining TAQA, Alaa spent 12 years at Saudi Aramco, where he held progressive leadership roles across multiple upstream functions, building a strong foundation in technical operations and organizational leadership.

Alaa holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University, US.

Hani Ahmed Qurashi
VP Internal Audit

Mr. Hani Ahmed joined TAQA in 2020, bringing with him over 20 years of experience with a focus on internal auditing across a range of industries in the Kingdom and internationally. In his current role, he is responsible for TAQA Group’s Internal Audit function. He has held multiple senior roles most recently as Chief Internal and Risk Officer for Dammam Airport Company (DACO), Group Chief Internal Auditor for United Matbouli Group (UMG), Group Chief Internal Auditor for Magrabi Hospitals and Centers (MHC), and different positions as risk assurance lead in PwC and KPMG covering Saudi and overseas markets. Mr. Hani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Helwan University, Egypt, and a Modern Accounting Diploma from the American University in Cairo. He has also received multiple certifications including Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from the Institution of Internal Audit, US; and Certified Risk Analyst (CRA) from the American Academy of Financial Management, US.

Alex Mathew
VP of Marketing & Commercial

Alex is the Vice President of Marketing & Commercial at TAQA, responsible for leading market intelligence, pricing insights, and customer engagement. In this role, he focuses on strengthening TAQA’s brand, enhancing client relationships, and supporting marketing business development across all markets.

Previously, Alex served as TAQA Group Executive Director of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) since January 2024, where he led the development and implementation of comprehensive HSE strategies, risk management initiatives, and operational frameworks to ensure a culture of safety and sustainability throughout TAQA and its subsidiaries.

He joined TAQA in July 2021 as a senior member of the Corporate Development team, playing a pivotal role in successful acquisitions and disposals. Recognized for his strategic acumen, Alex transitioned to the role of Integration Leader, spearheading the consolidation of diverse businesses into the unified TAQA model.

With over 25 years of experience in enterprise operational, commercial, and change management leadership, Alex possesses a wealth of technical and line management expertise. Having held prominent positions at industry leaders such as SLB and Baker Hughes, as well as contributing to the growth of startups, he has demonstrated a keen ability to lead business units across various geographical regions, particularly in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

Alex earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, U.S.A., underscoring his strong technical foundation and commitment to driving excellence in the energy sector.

Jallel Bendjaballah
VP of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)

Jallel is a seasoned executive with a distinguished track record in the energy industry, currently serving as the TAQA Group Vice President of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) since December 2025. He joined TAQA in October 2017, as Country Director for Gulf countries KSA, Bahrain, Qatar & Kuwait, playing an important role in developing business growth and contributing for post-acquisition integration. He is recognized for his technical, operational excellence, strategic planning and commitment to HSE.

Jallel last position was the role of Vice President Wireline services where he did pave the road for a strong future for TAQA logging services in efficient operations and strong service quality.

With his 30-year career in Oil & Gas, Jallel has held prominent position at industry leaders SLB in wireline operations, service quality, marketing, integrated project management and Human Resources. He possesses a wealth of technical and line management expertise. He has demonstrated a keen ability to lead business units across various geographical regions, particularly in the United Kingdom, North Africa, Middle East & Asia.

Jallel holds a Master of Technology “Mechanical Engineering” from Oum El Bough & Constantine University, Algeria.

Ahmad Al-Junaid
(A) Chief of Staff

Ahmad Al‑Junaid is the Acting Chief of Staff at TAQA, serving as a strategic partner to the CEO. In this role, he ensures alignment across the executive team, leads Enterprise Excellence & Communications, drives cross-functional initiatives, performance management and improvement, and enterprise-wide effectiveness programs.

Previously, Ahmad served as Acting Executive Director of the Project Management Office at TAQA, a role he assumed in June 2025. With over 16 years of experience in the energy services sector, Ahmad has built a distinguished career spanning project management, local content development, industrial partnerships, and business excellence.

Since joining TAQA in 2017, Ahmad has held several strategic leadership roles, including Local Content Director, Strategy & Communication Director, Drilling Business Unit Director, and Business Development Advisor. In these capacities, he led major initiatives in workforce localization, strategic communications, operational transformation, and regional business expansion. His contributions have played a pivotal role in advancing TAQA’s performance and shaping the company’s long-term growth strategy across multiple functions and markets.

Prior to TAQA, Ahmad held leadership roles at SLB, where he managed offshore drilling operations in Saudi Arabia, operations in Kuwait, Malaysia, and Brunei, and served as Global Overseas Recruiter based in Houston, USA. He also brings a solid background in sales and business development across the oil & gas sector, consistently driving growth and operational efficiency.

Beyond his executive responsibilities, Ahmad is a graduate of the Misk 2030 Leaders Program and an active contributor to national leadership and mentorship programs. He mentors young professionals through the KFUPM Alumni Network and the Saudi Leadership Society (SLS), and frequently engages in industry forums focused on energy, sustainability, and national development.

Ahmad holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM).
