In the case of a producing well, it may be beneficial to have a higher pressure drop in the injection direction to ensure uniform placement of stimulation treatment, followed by a lower pressure drop during production to allow optimised flow control. The converse may also be true for an injector where it could be beneficial to have a higher pressure drop in the production direction to encourage uniform clean-up, and a lower pressure drop in the injection direction to allow optimised injection control.
FloDual is custom designed depending on the application, field adjustable and can be incorporated with any of TAQA’s sand control portfolio if required.
